The Voyage of Terry Waite's Clogs (4)
      
Terry Waite visited Saddleworth Museum at 1.30 on April 6th. The clogs were taken by the Horseboating Society on the last stage of the voyage, on board horse-drawn "Maria". Terry then joined the boat at Roaches Lock for the final mile to Mossley, where he arrived around 3.30 pm.

The clogs will be on display for a time at the Industrial Heritage Centre, Emmaus , Longlands Mill, Queen Street, Mossley.
